After many fits and starts, my Volga is finished and in the water. Here is a link to a Picasa web album that chronicles the journey from wreck to restored.
Amazingly, it completely exceeded all of my expectations (with the exception of handling near the dock!) I can understand why one person added the bow thruster...

maybe you can contact me? I also live in Holland and i just brought my Volga here from Latvia. I just make a start to rebuilt my Volga, som maybe we can share some do's and dont's.

I'm curious, in your pics, you have some shots of you guys trial fitting what appears to be a wakeboard tower on the boat. Any reason why you chose not to complete the restoration with it?
