Finding the same or equivalent profile has not been possible here. A rubber hose would have been possible but at that time I already made up my mind for the wooden deck. I just had an extrusion die made in China. They have extruded four sample pieces of rubber channel - 25 meters long. It should ship to me in the next 3 weeks. Assuming it fits, I will post pictures. It will be very inexpensive to produce a lot of rub rail.
