Finding the same or equivalent profile has not been possible here. A rubber hose would have been possible but at that time I already made up my mind for the wooden deck. So we filled the channel with strong oak wood and screwed and glued mahagony wood on it. (Picture should be known to you from ''rounded top w...''

Georg -

I just had an extrusion die made in China. They have extruded four sample pieces of rubber channel - 25 meters long. It should ship to me in the next 3 weeks. Assuming it fits, I will post pictures. It will be very inexpensive to produce a lot of rub rail.

Sorry that was too late for me. I switched my design to wood and can not go back easily.
