Engine Fundation

My Strela is one from 1965,and the engine was after 20years outside without a hood beyond repairs.
So plans where made to fit a mercedes OM603 in it.
I wanted a good fundation.

So after some hard thinking with a "wooden" engine the 603 was to high to fit anther the hood.
I had to lower the engine.
And keep the angles of the shaft( CV-joint like a Aqua drive)between the Vdrive/Gearbox at 2º.
The Cv-joint will be in a W setup.
I made a fixed mold.
