Re: New Volga´s
Hi! I stumbed on this web site, which explains where the story comes from... http://sudocompozit.feodosia.net/prod.boats.hvilya.html its an Ukranian buro...as it seems to me, they made quite an interesting form of wings, really making it possible to use in sea conditions. After contacting them i sadly confirmed that its just a prototype...and as usual, was invited to have a chat about pricing policy... My last experience, ( i visited http://www.volga-shipyard.com/index.php ... raft_id=14) was 12,000,000 rub. (300,000euro) for a 1987 dolphin ))))))))))))... they are mad! A guy explained - well, fsb (former kgb) agents and local corrupt politicians, with their "easy" money can easily purchase 2 or 3 of these dolphins for 450000euro each...and wont even hesitate about the quality of the boat....so all of these "great" soviet buros.. are reasonably lazy on marketing issues )) ... why bother ))) ...

Probably you go and meet them and you will be even more surprised. A couple of guys most probably seldomly sobber, enjoying international intruders and then after breeding out with effort socalled phantasy prices (yeah you know it could be worth it?). And once you decline from such kind offers, they even get angry and proudly tell you that you don't know what treasure you would be buying. They probably do not need the money after all, as everything is cheap overthere anyway (Time, live & living). So they sit on their boats like ducks for many years, telling and believing each other how much worth such boat could be and how stupid we are, while their boats rust or blush away. However worth and value should only increase during the years, no matter what comes, they believe they are offering you a Picasso with increasing value.
I love this attitude ... Don't waste your time....
