Photo of hoisting point

Post by olaf »

Hi there,

may anyone post pictures here, how the hoisting point in the front of the boat is build?
In the documentations of the volga 70, there is only the small passage, to use the hoisting ropes, which are delivered with the boat. In Fig. 2 of the manual is shown the eye-bolt between bulkhead 5 and 6. Unfortunately this bolt was removed at my boat from a previous owner and I can´t find other documentation about that.

Can you help?

Oh thank you, that hoisting point is removed by former owners. The iron sheet around is very rusty and I think because of that they removed it.

My plan is, to screw to anchor plates (200mm x 200mm) at the bulkhead wtih M12 screws and in the middle of the plates I will attach one of the hoisting point from stern. I replaced them by others. I hope that will work.

Best to you
Olaf

ik would try to reduce the stress of the bolds.
Use many ;-) and if possible also on the floor,
like the original.
It is only 2mm alu plate...
