The question is: We need a lot of spare parts. All kinds. Does anybody have spare parts left or a boat that he or sh...

Re: Volga Videos
Does anyone have any movies about or with Volga hydrofoils that they would like to share? I found a movie from the "Raketgruppen" from Sweden on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m37JmO-kuMs&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJpAy0YunPc Then there is some footage of...

Re: who knows the max rpm from original propeller of volga
Hi Daan, http://www.foils.org/volga-jan.pdf Here is a rather exact follow up for your question. Regards, Mark [ quote="Daan"]Hey everybody, Who can tell me the max rpm of the original propeller of the volga ( see picture of prop)? I think there are a couple of volga's around that use the o...

Re: New member
Hi Christian, The original enginepower was 70 - 100 HP with a petrol engine. I agree that a big gasguzler V8 petrol engine sounds nice. With the Volga I was much more looking for economy cruise. A very nice way the fly your boat as cheap as possible over a long riverdistance. As you know there is a ...

Weight of the Yanmar engine is actually 428 KG. Very little for an engine like that.\ http://www.yanmarmarine.com/theme/yanmar/uploadedFiles/engine_files/Operation%20manuals/6LPA-ST(Z)P2_Operation%20Manual.pdf Hi Peter, welcome to the forum. The Volga is a great boat. Your Volga looks great at the d...

Re: Structural integrety of boat and wing in case of high speedC
Hi Maurits, Thx for your contribution to my worries. I myself have a 30 ft montecarlo offshorer with 2x 200 HP diesel. Same system as volga as far as propulsion. V-drives with in my case bronze props and a special stepped hull. I also had it liftes out of the water because of a very big rope entangl...

Re: Structural integrety of boat and wing in case of high speedC
Thans for you reply. I just had this discussion with a friend. He thinks if you hit a big piece of wood like use on railroads the wing will come of and tear the boat. Since there is lots of debri in Holland floating around I am wondering if the boat is suitable for this region. Maybe PETER VENEMA kn...

Structural integrety of boat and wing in case of high speedC
Does anybody has had a high speed underwater collision with a foreign object such as a big piece of wood or something else like that? Will the whole wing come of? I read many stories of beautiful clean lakes and rivers. But hey man... this is Amsterdam. Can the boat be safely used on water with fore...
